Summer in the Capital: A Fall Recruitment Preview for Students & Employers

The Diversity Committee of the Washington Area Legal Recruitment Administrators Association (WALRAA) is pleased to invite you to the third annual Summer in the Capital: A Fall Recruitment Preview for Students & Employers.

At last year's event, over 40 employers participated and students from over 40 different law schools were in attendance. The purpose of this event is to bring together legal employers and rising second-year law students (with an expected graduation date of May 2016) who contribute to the diversity of the legal profession and are interested in practicing law in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. This will be a great opportunity to network with a mix of representatives from firms, public interest organizations, and government agencies and circulate resumes before the start of the fall recruitment season in an informal setting. Each employer will have a table where they can speak with interested students about their firm and its culture.

Rising second-year students are encouraged to participate. THERE IS NO FEE TO ATTEND -- you are simply asked to RSVP by Thursday, June 19th. A confirmation email, with detailed information, will be sent to all participants in advance of the event.
